Before 1995, teachers were the most repected, and they were always persons to be considered to do right things only. Of course, this weird perspective is way worse in my parents' age. Teachers can beat students, even parents authorized the right to teachers to allow them to punish their kids as long as it's necessary. My teacher in 5th and 6th grade in elementary school, was a very famous teacher and his reputation came from his strictness. Seriously, no one in our class was never beated by him, no matter how good your grades were. He had this flexible stick (cane) which is a very strong weapon to hit on your palms (of course, both palms). And he'd his hands as a good weapon to slap you when he couldn't grab his stick in time.

Around this time, it reminds me about this friend I have when I am back in USA. He is from Indonesia and I met him in the first class I attened in USA. He was the only Asian (except me and my two other classmates) in the class. I thought that he is ABC or borned in USA, and I like his bright/shinny eyes (although it's not a good description for a big guy like him). Too bad that we (me and my two other classmates) got kicked out after one period of class because that stupid professor thought that we are not qualified to attend his class (truth is that we just don't understand American culture that much; not the course he teaches). Thus, I thought that I will never get to know this Asian and I didn't even know his name yet.

This girl I met when I was in USA. She is a very smart, strong girl, and always know what she wants. However, I ran away from being her friend after three weeks, because somehow, I found myself being ruled by her in many ways which means I don't really have right to choose what I want, but totally follow her orders. But to be with her, you will not be harm for sure tho because she is a very good friend who knows how to protect her friends, and stand up for you at a very righ time. So, it doesn't surprise me at all to see her work for things about development, human rights, politics, and conflicts.  And also, this girl is from Georgia (a country, not the state in USA), so she has some strong words about the conflicts happened recently between Georgia and Russia. But you know, if you know her well, she is just being justic!

During the time we were studying in USA, she got this boyfriend serving in Georgia's military. They talked on phone from time to time and she always told me that things didn't go well between them. After left the school in one year, she left to study master in Holland. Of course, she again said she wanted to dump her boyfriend because of certain reasons. And again, I told her that maybe thing can work somehow, because it's been so long!

Since 2008, I cannot help to say, "I am old", from time to time. Am I old? According to the comment from those interviewers for the past 2~3 weeks, they all said "you are still so young". I supposed what they meant is "you don't have enough experience". Well, what the fuck, I don't care, but just need a job I will fall in love with. If they think in that way, the only thing I can do is to move on to the next one.

Well, two weeks ago, I went back to my elementary school to attend the 30th school celebration for my nephew, Nelson. He is actully in kindergarden, penguin class. The school didn't really change a lot, still those buildings and the same playground, but prettier. The celebration doesn't really have new activities, always the rolling big balls for youngest kids, dancing for each grade students, and running contest for higher grade students. However, I think it's much happier in our year, because we got to have seats around the playgroud to see every show, and we bring snacks to share with each other. Now, they don't let students sit around the playground, but put them in the classroom till it's time for them to perform.

That's why I love to watch Grey's Anatomy, and I haven't found any season is worse than another season. I have wacthed Grey's Anatomy since I got back Taiwan. Whenever I am not looking for job, I spent most of my time watching this TV show online. My family is so curious why I can sit in front of my laptop for the whole afternoon or whole night to watch this show.
